The Barnard-Columbia Urban Review is seeking submissions for our Fall 2025 issue! We will accept papers from any discipline within the social sciences or humanities that are focused on cities or the urban experience. You can submit work that you have written for a course, a thesis (appropriately condensed), or something that you’ve written for fun!
Papers should be emailed to bc.urbanreview@gmail.com with the subject “Fall 2025 Submission” by Sunday, September 28th, 2025

We publish sharp, student-driven pieces that distill complex research, spotlight pressing issues, and explore how urban dynamics shape communities. Content may take the form of commentary, research essays, interviews, or creative reflections.
